Top Gun Movie Review – Is Top Gun: Maverick another homage to the ’80s classic? No, no. It topped the 1986 box office.

These struggles, when presented in their entirety, infuse the story with a depth that makes the film more than just an airy thriller. I doubt most viewers can relate. With that said, I agree with the popular reviews that this sequel is truly one of those rare, super rare masterpieces that is better than its predecessor.

The gold finish is also a perfect finish. Cliché, “retro”, apparently, once, I don’t mind. Flying off into the sunset has never been more satisfying.
